I stepped into the world of macrame in 2020 when I needed a solution for displaying all my house plants.
I was rapidly running out of room in my childhood bedroom and resorted to hanging them from the ceiling and walls.
Since then I have ventured into all types of macrame, both practical and decorative.
I find it incredibly therapeutic, a way to wind down and express myself.
I have always been a creative person, I studied Photography at University and in recent years I have become a qualified florist.
I am now working in horticulture and have found being outside and working with my hands is the absolute best combination.
If I’m not making macrame I will most definitely be in my garden growing as many flowers and vegetables as I can fit in!
